Consign
Drop off maternity and nursing pieces you no longer need, freshly laundered. We check quality, fit and condition, and tag each item.
Circulate
We price, photograph and sell the piece to another Basel mother — in person, tried on, no guessing on fit.
Repeat
She consigns it back once she's done. Same tag, next mother. Nothing unsold goes to waste — it's donated, never discarded.

Resale Event at the Orangerie — 18 October 2026
Circular Mama is popping up at the Gärtnerhuus Orangerie in Schwarzpark. A curated selection of maternity and nursing clothing — including winter pieces — brought in by women in Basel.
Alongside the rail, we'll share tips and tricks for dressing a baby bump or a baby carrier through a Basel winter without spending a lot of money. Try things on, take your time, and pay only if it's right.
We're especially looking for coats and winter wear — maternity or simply roomy enough to work through pregnancy or over a carrier. If you have pieces sitting unused, we'd love to sell them on your behalf.

Environmental
We track average rotations per garment — how many pregnancies one piece supports. Most maternity clothing gets one. Our target is three or more, and every unsold item is donated through partner charities rather than discarded.
Social
Maternity clothing is needed from the second trimester — months before most mother groups start. We use that early window to connect Basel's many relocated and first-time mothers with each other, sooner.
